- Akira is hidden gem today. I am glad I got my Dark Horse editions, even lucky to get vol 1 in HC, just wish all the others got the same treatment. Nice to hear you're in Virginia, that's where I graduated HS and lived for many years. My comic book collecting even started there, thanks to Comico's Robotech comics.
I was fortunate enough to have some of the greatest comic book shops in the Tidewater area when I went to college in Norfolk. I picked up some untranslate Otomo short story collections that I love glancing through.....hmmm those would be nice for Fantagraphics or Vertical to put out.
